I've been in so many competitions to win these tickets, and a lot of my friends were in competitions for me as well, but no luck anywhere. I was already losing hope to go to this fantastic concert, but there was one chance left: Radio 538. Radio 538 is the Dutch Top 40 channel, and they're having an entire weekend dedicated to madonna, giving away Hard Candy tickets every two hours.
Yesterday, during the first round, I couldn't even get connected to their phone lines... it was that busy! So, I figured I was bound to spend the entire weekend listening to the radio, with no chance of winning whatsoever. Then, at 9.15 PM, the second round came. 4 Minutes started and they wanted caller #5. I immediately called, and the first time already I got connected and started to freak out. I kept telling the people from the radiostation how big of a fan I am and how much I would love to win these tickets.
And it paid of big time! Five minutes later, I was live on air, making a complete fool out of myself, since by the time I was freaking out more than you can imagine. Never mind though, I don't give a shit about making a fool out of myself when it comes to Madonna. So, they told me I won the tickets, and I started to scream, hehe!
Monday I will be contacted by Warner Music, to go over the details, and Thuesday I'll be on my way to Olympia Paris, where, for the 9th time in my life, I will see the Queen of Pop. Am I the luckiest guy in the world or what?
