Life is great

Needless to say, my weekend has been absolutely fantastic! Friday, right after I won the Madonna Hard Candy competition, I texted Annelies she could come along with me to see Madonna at the Olympia Paris, tomorrow. So, we went for a few drinks to celebrate, cause how often do you get invited to a private Madonna concert? I guess this truly is a once in a lifetime experience.

Saturday I slept in, and went for lunch on my balcony, The weather was great so I was already in a good mood. Then Anneke called to ask me if I wanted to go for a drink. I said yes, so we had a good time. Mirjam came along as well so we had a great time.

Saturday evening Sara came over to visit, which was nice as well. I can always have a good laugh with her. Afterwards, I was pretty tired, so I decided not to go out anymore (am I getting old or what).

Sunday I went to visit my parents in leeuwarden. We had a great time, it was nice to see they were so happy for me that I've won the Madonna tickets. I stayed until 9-ish and then took the train back to Groningen.

Today I'm at the office, waiting for Warner Music to call me. They said they were gonna call this morning to give me the details about my trip to Paris tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it so much! Today in Holland we celebrate the day the netherlands were liberated from the Nazi's in World War 2, so there's a big celebration going on the the city park. Ziena and I are planning to go for a while after work, but obviously, I won't stay too long cause I want to be up and running for my Madonna concert tomorrow.
