Yesterday evening, after swimming, Ziena and I watched the X-Files Movie (the first one, from 1998, not the one being released later this year) on DVD. Ziena ordered it online cause she's a huge David Duchovny fan and asked me to watch along. Since I've seen many episodes from her DVD box, I've grown to like the X-Files, so I was happy to join her.
The movie didn't dissapoint me; it was like a streched out version of the television series, except with way more special effects and explosions. Also, from the exotic locations you could tell the budget was a lot higher (obviously).
Which brings me to the point it's too bad David is now involved in this really shitty show called Californication. It's like soft porn disguised as a drama/sitcom, without any real storylines. You'd think he could do better than that? I do have to say that except for South Park, I'm not into Comedy Central shows anyway, but to me this one is definitely the worst. Well, perhaps competing with cavemen, which is just as pathetic.
I sure hope the new movie will be just like the old one, and will make up for David's recent anthics!
