A very great second date

Did I have the best weekend ever! As I mentioned before, it was Queen's Day weekend over here in Holland, and my date and I decided to spend it together. Even though I was pretty nervous, as one is supposed to be on a second date, it all worked out like a charm!

He came over on Sunday after dinner, so after I picked him up from the station we went to the central square of Groningen, where a huge stage had been built, to have a beer. Of course he didn't really travel light, so after that we decided to get his bags over to my house, so they wouldn't be a bother all night long. Anyway, over at my place we had some wine and it became very obvious almost from the start there was nothing to be worried about and it looked like it was going to be a great weekend.

So, after a while we went back to town where the party had started big time, so we just indulged and had a great time. At about 4 in the morning we decided to go home (no further comment haha).

Sunday was basically the warm up for the real bank holiday, so we went to town at about 12. We both were a bit hung-over, so we didn't really get started, but after some McDonalds fare we were up and running so we went for a beer and everything was alright. Great time during daytime, with loads of sun and bands playing all over the city of Groningen.

Then at night, we went to my former student club, where we got totally drunk and generally had a great time. At first he was supposed to leave last night, since of course we both had to get up early to go to the office this morning, but in the end we decided he could just as well stay for another night. So this morning we said goodbye, but not farewell, since we're seeing each other again soon! Can't wait!
