Facts of the matter

Last night I was seriously thinking about quiting guys altogether and just don't bother for them anymore. This may sound extremely insincere coming from me, but I actually felt that way, and for once it wasn't out of anger with one particular guy, or out of self pity or anything, but just out of plain and simple facts.

Fact: Most homosexuals are not interested in any form of steady relationship whatsoever. The vast majority of them seems to be only on the look-out for one-night-stand #878642355 who they can freshly dump the next morning. I admit, as I've done before, that I'm quilty as charged with this practice as well, but I do believe that was more a bit of a thing of the past, and now I seriously hope to get involved in some broader way with a guy I meet in a bar, a club, or anywhere.

Fact: Guys can tell you you're the one, and change their minds over the course of a day, leaving you with nothing but a broken heart after maybe even a, say, months-long relationship. All three serious relationships I've had in my 25-year old existence, have ended up this way, with me being dumped in a way that I didn't expect at all.

Fact: No matter how close you're relationship with a certain guy may be, there is always a far bigger chance than there is with women, that they'll cheat the hell out of you. I know many gay guys who are officially in relationships, but fuck like monkeys with any guy willing to show even the slightest of interest. So this basically means you have to keep your boyfriend on a tight leash (and I don't mean that in a good way) to keep him from cheating from you, which will probably lead up to one of the break-ups discussed earlier.

So, while I have no intereset in sleeping with women, maybe I should quit guys just as well, and live like a monk for the rest of my life!
