Busy as a bee

As promised, I'm taking a break from my obsessed Madonna posts of this past week, so I'm just going to write about what I've been up to this weekend. I noticed in my Webstats that most visitors seem to arrive at my site through a Madonna related query, so maybe it's a bit risky, but there we go.

Friday at work I found out my boss was taken out of her function, which I have to say didn't really come as a surprise and isn't something I'm heartbroken about. It wasn't like I hated her something, but it wasn't as if we got along just fine either, so I'm basically blase about the news. So, after work I went for drinks with some friends, and got home about 1 AM, so I got a good night sleep before my Amsterdam second show ticket experience Saturday morning.

After I got my tickets on Saturday, me and Annelies had a nice breakfast, after which she had to go to work, so I went home for a shower, and then went bowling with this large group of friends we always do stuff with on Saturday (usually just drinks). Normally I despise bowling, but after a couple of beers it turned out actually to be a lot of fun, and I didn't even do so bad.... ended up in the top 5 players (we were there with 17 people). We also had reservations for dinner, but since we were off early on bowling, we decided to go for drinks in between. Dinner was great, at this nice ancake all-you-can-eat restaurant, quite noisy, but that's fine after so many beers.

After dinner I went home to fresh up cause Michael was coming over to go clubbing. We went to the local gay bar/dancing and ran into Jurn and some other people I know. Great evening, all dancing and loads of booze, and I didn't see my bed until 6 AM, so it was a nice old-fashioned evening. Also, I cought up with this rather handsome guy that I instantly kinda liked, named M (this is a different M than the last one, I can now disclose the last one was called Michael, yes, the guy I was going out with Saturday, we're basically just friends now, which is fine). Unfortunately, I was a bit too drunk to actually make a good conversation, so I was already expecting never to see or hear from him again, especially since we didn't exchnage any phone numbers or e-mail adresses. Still, when I came home last night, he had sent me a message, to which I replied, so I was kinda surprised I seem to not have screwed up as big time as I'd expected.

On Sunday, as usual, I went swimming with Leendert and Milan, and yesterday evening I didn't really do anything, except for staring at my Madonna tickets and marvelling on about the fact that I'm so totally happy with just the thought of seeing Madonna live for not just one, but three times.

Back at work now for another funfilled week, and looking forward to my first week off in almost a year, which will take place next week. Hope everyone has had a great weekend as well! Leave me a message, and have a good day! Cheers!
