My friend Ziena (and her husband) and I watched the most ridiculous movie ever on DVD last night: Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus. The title basically says it all... It's a disaster movie starring a prehistoric (and therefor naturally of gigantic size) shark and likewise octopus, who are not only fighting each other, but in the process also manage to tear down San Fransisco's Golden Gate Bridge, a Boeing 747 in mid-air and a complete oil platform.
Special effects were abominal to say the least. However, unlike that dreadful Predators movie I saw last weekend, this one was actually fun. It was quite obvious the producers and actors weren't taking themselves too seriously, so we ended up having a good laugh!
