Good clean fun

As you all know by now, I'm a big fan of High School Musical. I was thinking about the reasons for this unusual departure of my every day entertainment mix. Obviously, one of the main reasons is because Zac Efron is in it, and I intend on marrying him. However, this is not the only justification for my latest craze.

I figured that probably the main reason (aside from Zac Efron), is because this is actually fun. I know I like stuff like American Pie and Eurotrip, which is like the opposite of High School Musical, but I have to say it's actually refreshing to see a movie that does not contain any swearing, violance or any other vice. This may sound very old, but it's good to see teenagers actually enjoying this, instead of watching movies where people's heads are blown off (or worse).

Obviously, being the gay guy I am, I also very much enjoy the musical aspect of this movie! The songs are really catchy and easy to sing along to. Basically patented Disney stuff, but as long as it does the job, who cares? I totally understand why the soundtrack went to the top of the Billboard chart.

So, now that I have been promoting High School Musical for about a week, I promise not to mention it ever again. Well, at least until October 22, when High School musical 3 will open in theatres!
