Yesterday evening I've been flipping through some old pictures (well, as far as going through them on a computer screen counts as flipping), and it's amazing how much older everyone looks now than they did just two or three years ago. It's funny, cause usually when you see people (like friends or family) every day, you don't really notice.
While watching the pictures, sometimes I even had to look twice to figure out who the person in the picture actually is. Sometimes they gone bald, sometimes they've ballooned, sometimes they just generally look really different. I'm not saying I'm an exception to this rule in away (although i didn't go bald and I didn't ballon, but I'm sure I look a lot older than I did a couple of years ago), but with some people the difference is really telling.
On the other hand, there were also people who just look exactly the same now as they did a couple of years ago, which is also a bit weird. You'd think they would look at least a bit older, wouldn't you? I guess I wouldn't even want to look 20 anymore, even though sometimes I say I do. I guess it's a lot more difficult being taken seriously at work when you look as if you've just finished high school, so there are some advantages to looking older.
Anyway, tonight I'm gonna watch some more pictures, and maybe afterwards I'll post an old and a new one here, so you can be the judge.
