Half a year

The moment has finally arrived: per today, I'm a non-smoker for half a year already! How cool is that? I realize it may sound a bit silly to mention the fact every month, but I'm so fucking proud of myself for not smoking for such a long time. When I quit on September 12, I didn't think I would make it this long. Actually, I think I didn't even expected it to last for over a week, and here I am...

I guess after half a year it's safe to say I'll never start smoking again, especially since our government is totally taking the fun out of it, with smoking bans as of June 1st almost everywhere. It's not as if it's really inviting to go and have a nice cigarette, since you have to go outside all the time. Besides, since I'm planning on moving houses pretty soon, it would be nice to actually keep the walls white in my new place.

Another big factor to count in, is the fact I've saved approximitely EUR 1040.- since I quit, which is good money! So, as a reward I think I'll go buy myself a nice CD or DVD tonight after work! I think I deserve that much!
