Easter Monday

Easter Monday turned out to be a lot less boring than I had expected and wrote about yesterday. Just a couple of minutes after I wrote my previous entry, my friends Arjen and Sjeed suggested I'd come to Utrecht (which is where they both live) to spend the afternoon. Since I didn't have any plans, it seemed like a great idea, so after a quick shower I went to the station to catch a train.

It takes two hours to get from Groningen (where I live) to Utrecht, and the battery of my iPod was empty, so that was a bit shitty. Fortunately enough I didn't forget to bring a magazine so it wasn't a boring ride after all.

When I arrived in Utrecht we went to a nice bar where we had a couple of wines and did some catching up. One thing lead to another so before I knew it we were in the bar for like 4 hours, so it was about time to go back home. Another two hours in the train, which was terribly crowded and not comfortable at all, especially since the guy sitting in front of me was like 2 meters tall, so I had nowhere to put my legs...

Back home I was just in time to catch Project Runway, and then off to an early night sleep. All in all, a good day!
