Just a few moments ago, Madonna fansite DrownedMadonna.com announced that tickets for Madonna's upcoming world tour 2008/2009, supporting her new album Hard Candy, will go on sale May 2nd. This is according to a rumour going around at LiveNation. The rumour also states the tour will be huge, and will take Madonna to places she hasn't visited in a while (basically since The Girlie Show World Tour 1993), so this could very well mean she'll visit Australia and South America.
The downer is, they also state tickets will be pricey, with front row sections being charged a premium. I hope this is about seated shows, and not General Admission. Usually to get front row places at a general admission show, means you just have to wait for a very long time, but there's no need to pay more. Let's hope she keeps it this way.
Anyway, the fact that tour rumours are getting stronger every day, is something that makes me very happy. I'm looking forward to seeing Madonna once again (a couple of times of course, one show just isn't enough).
