The weekend has been great, as I expected! Friday I left the office relatively early, so I could go have a drink with Sjeed and Roel, who both don't live in Groningen anymore. One drink lead to another and more people started to show up, resulting in a very nice evening.
Saturday Leendert and I went for lunch in a restaurant called Huize Maas. The food was good, not great, just good. The music, however, was way too loud for a lunch place, and there were people coming in taking their dogs along. Your average crowd of trailer park trash so to speak. Still, it was nice catching up. After lunch I treated myself to a new cd (Hitzone, a compilation album with today's Top40 tracks).
Saturday evening I went to Anneke and Dirk (where Mirjam and Remco were, as well) which was great. I hadn't seen their baby girl for a while, and I have to say she looked adorable. As you may know I'm not that big on kids in general, but this particular baby was quite lovely.
Yesterday Leendert and I went swimming, and that about rounds it up. All in all: a great weekend!
