The weekend has kicked in and I'm glad! It has been a busy week at work, which may sound strange, knowing that I had a day off for New Year, but it's true. Working in finance means the first week of a new year is all about ending the old year, and you wouldn't believe how busy that can become. It's very much OK, though, cause I really like it when it's busy.
To celebrate the weekend, yesterday evening Leendert came over for a drink, which was fun. Acualy, it's always fun when Leendert comes over, so I knew I was in for a good night. He left at about 1, after which I went to bed. Because of this relatively early to bed-ness, I'm feeling fine now! Ziena just texted me to ask me if I wanted to go and have lunch with her downtown, to which I responded positively.
Don't really have any plan for tonight, yet. Maybe I'll just go for an early visit to my parents.
