Social encounters

What a couple of fun days I've been having since the last time I posted! As I said, on Friday Ziena came over, which was a lot of fun. It turned out to be an all-nighter, so Saturday at first I wasn't feeling so well, but after a while everything was okay.

Saturday afternoon I went for a drink with Dirk, Anneke, Mirjam and Remco, which was nice as well. Then that evening Sara came over to watch a movie. I was pretty much exhausted, so we didn't go out afterwards, which was just fine.

Sunday I went to cultural festival Noorderzon (well known in Holland) with my ex co-worker Corien. It was great seeing her again, and we had a lot of catching up to do, so obviously we didn't do anything cultural and just went for drinks and nibbles. After Corien left, I ran into Annelies and Stef. Annelies and I hadn't seen each other for some time either, so we decided to hook up that evening, which was great.

Monday morning I went to my parents in Leeuwarden, where I stayed until after dinner. When I got back to Groningen, W. came over to my place, which was obviously very nice again. He stayed until just a couple of minutes ago, so we had lunch in town, went shopping for a while, and sat on a terrace. The weather was lousy, but we managed to stay relatively dry.

As you can see, I'm still having a lot of fun in my vacation!
