So today's the big day of me going to Breda and Antwerpen with my date E. I'm looking forward to it very much, but also I'm a bit apprehensive about it, since this is basically the first time I've ever done something like this. You know, I've been on blind dates once in a while, but it's a bit different, for at least you know the person who set you up with your date, while this time it's completely new to me. Then again, we talked over the phone quite a bit and he does seem awefully nice, so I just go in with an open mind and see what happens.
All this is due for tonight, but let's not forget about yesterday night. Anneke and I went to The Da Vinci Code, and I hate to say it, but I didn't really like the movie. I thought it was way too long and it kinda lost me in the end. Maybe I should have read the book first, cause Anneke did ike the movie and she had read it. Well, it wasn't like I hated the movie, it just didn't live up to my expectations which is a bit of a shame.
Anyway, after the movie we went to Chaplin's Pub, where this horrible guy named Bob Color performed. He called himself the human jukebox, which basically meant that the patrons could request songs from a long list and then he'd sing them to them. All this may sound like a very nice idea, if it weren't for the fact that this guy had an absolute horrible voice. I mean, I know I can't sing, but at least I don't pretend I can by singing in public places like this. So as you can imagine, Anneke and I had a bit of a laugh and then flew the place.
So, wish me luck tonight, and let's hope it's a good one!
