A fabulous weekend

As I promised last Saturday, I want to tell you guys something about my absolutely delightful date last Friday/Saturday. I didn't have the time to write this before, so here goes:

Friday after work I jumped on a train to Breda, being very very nervous on how things would go. After all, even though we had great conversations on the phone, in the end I didn't know E. in real life. So, I spend the entire 3.5 hour ride psyching myself up, and when I eventually got to Breda, it turned out this was all for no reason... I instantly liked E. very much, and it was as if we knew each other very well already. Not to mention the fact he is even better looking in person than he was in a picture.

Anyway, we went to his place and had a couple of drinks there, and then decided we were going to Bruxelles for a couple of more drinks. This in itself is really cool for me, since I live in the north of Holland and can't go there just for a drink. From Breda though, it's not a very long drive and it was absolutely great. We ended up in this really tacky karaoke bar and had a good laugh.

At about three in the morning we drove back to Breda and went to bed (no details here hehe). The next morning, he made me a really nice breakfast, after which we went for a drink in a hotel in the middle of a forest, which was very nice in the sun. One drink turned into two drinks, and then we went to downtown Breda for some shopping and another drink. After that, unfortunately, I had to head back home, for another very long train ride.

The good thing is, this entire date was fabulous. I really really really like E. Well, to be honest, I'm totally in love with him, and I can't wait to see him again. The bad thing is, he lives so far away from me. He'll come and visit me in two weeks and spend the entire weekend in Groningen then, and I'm already looking forward to that very much. In the mean time, we call and text each other all the time, which may not be the real thing, but at least counts as a good substitute.

So, as I mentioned yesterday, I'm very happy right now, and I can't wait to see him again!
