Credit card hijack

The oddest thing happened to me today. I was trying to buy a Confessions Tour dvd online when Paypal refused my credit card for no apparant reason. So I called my bank to ask them what's up, and you know what? It turned out that both my bank account and my credit card aren't listed on my address anymore, but on two different addresses in Volendam, which is a place I've never even been in my life. What's even weirder, is that on one of these addresses lives a guy with the same surname as I have.

Obviously, I was freaked out by all this, so I left work temporarely to pay my bank a visit and report this to the police. It turns out that on may 31 this year, someone made a phone call to my bank regarding my credit card number, to gain information about it. Fortunately enough the bank employee didn't trust it, and blocked my card, so that explains why I wasn't able to buy the dvd. So they've put everything back on my address and I'll receive a new credit card in a few days.

Still, I'm totally freaked out because of this, since obviously someone has access to my account and I don't have a clue how this has happened. Usually when I purchase something, like concert tickets, on the web, I use a computer at work because of the very solid firewall. I did use it on my home computer once though, so maybe there's the leak? I don't know, but I'm a bit scared now. The bank will call me back after their investigation, so I hope that will happen soon.
