How fucking fantastic it is to wake up on a Monday morning knowing you have the entire week off from work! Even though I'm not going to London as I planned before, I'm still extremely happy with my week vacation, since it's the first one I actually have since August last year. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but some free time is more than welcome as well!
So today I'm going to visit my parents in Leeuwarden, and will probably spend the night there as well and go back to Groningen tomorrow morning. I'm bartending tomorrow, so I need to get a bit of sleep tonight. At 6-ish PM I'm done bartending after which there is a party. This is totally cool, since I never really get the chance to attend party's from my former fraternity, cause they're always on Thuesdays or Thursdays, and of course I need to go to work the day after, so it's no use going. This will be the first party in a very long time I actually get the chance of going to, so believe me when I say it's gonna be an all-nighter!
Of course, I also need to train just a bit for the Batavierenrace, which is a running race organised annually. Last year I did 8 kilometers, which was just a little over the top for me, so this year I'll be trying for 6.7 kilometers. I should be able to pull that of, so wish me luck next Saturday!
