Egyptian look

From The Sun:

KATY PERRY has gone all Egyptian for her latest artwork. And with her severe black bob and black eyeliner she's a dead ringer for ELIZABETH TAYLOR in the 1963 classic Cleopatra. The movie, which starred Taylor's future husband RICHARD BURTON as Marc Anthony, was the most expensive of its time, costing £28 Million - the equivalent of £200 million today.

The singer dresses as the foxy Egyptian queen on the cover of her new single E.T., the latest track from her Teenage Dream album. And she promised be "a new music video and remixes coming soon". Katy, who wed RUSSELL BRAND in October, performed E.T. at a Christmas gig in the States where she told the crowd the song "is about falling in love with a foreigner, like far away ... not even in England."

And the classy black and white shot for the single, which is set for a February release, is a huge change from her usual bright and gawdy look. No doubt she bathed in milk and had her hubby peel her a few grapes before posing. Maybe she even showed him her asp.
