Couch troubles

Well, it's official: I've moved! Yesterday evening, right after work, I went to my old house to get rid of my old couch, which turned out to be absolutely horrendous. Last week Ziena and I already went to demolish the couch, in order to get it fit to be moved through the stairs. I figured by then I would be okay and taking it out would be a matter of 10 minutes.

Think again... as it turned out, the couch was still too big to move out, so I needed to demolish it even more. As you might have expected, I'm somewhat of the opposite of a handy-man, so I had no idea how to go about. I took a saw and tried to make it smaller, which eventually worked, but only after more than an hour's work. Then, when I finally had it small enough, I needed to take it down the stairs, which caused me to get stuck between the couch and the stairs. To make a long story short: eventually I got it out, but instead of 10 minutes it had cost me an hour and a half.

So, after turning in the key I officially left my old house, so Ziena and I went to the electronics store to buy myself some internet cable. Tonight, after work, I´m going to connect my computer at home, so hopefully all will be fixed in just a short while! Also, to start getting back to some kind of normality, Ziena and I are going swimming tonight!
