A few weeks ago, the long awaited new version of Beverly Hills 90210 started in the United States. For those of you who are not about my age and don't have a clue what Beverly Hills 90210 was: it was the most popular drama soap of the nineties. Shannen Doherty, Luke Perry, Jenny Garth and Jason Priestley became household names all over the world, and millions of teenagers (and their parents) watched the show every week.
After 10 years, the show came to an end, partly because the main characters simply had experienced about every tragedy a human being can take, and there were no more original storylines to come up with.
Now, a decade later, the new version, simply called 90210, is ready to get the viewers hooked. And here lies the problem: I want to get hooked, but Dutch television hasn't started braodcasting 90210 yet. Now that the first Gossip Girl season has ended, this would be a perfect opportunity to fill in the gap. So ~come on, Net 5, bring us 90210!
