Parade protest

Another workday has passed, meaning in two days I will finally be celebrating my vacation! I've been having a good day, got a lot of work done, and went home before I knew it. I like those days at the office that go by really fast because you're busy enough. Right now of course it's sitcom time (I'm writing this during commercial break), after which I will drag my ass to Hendrik, a student club here in Groningen. Of course I'm not a student anymore, but it's still kinda nice going there.

The only thing that bugs me a little, is not having any plans for the weekend yet. I wanted to go clubbing, but I guess everyone will be at Gay Pride in Amsterdam. Being gay, I don't like those extravagant events because I think they cash in to the stereotypes most unknowing people already have when it comes to gay people. So, as a protest, I never went, even though I guess the parties will be quite nice. It's the canal parade I'm protesting against, but I guess it will be of no use. Anyway, as a result I will probably be stuck at home this Saturday, which is something I'm not that thrilled about. Hopefully someone calls to go clubbing.
