The weekend for a climate in crisis

As I hoped (and expected, to be honoust), Madonna totally stole the show last Saturday at Wembley Stadium London. It was of course Live Earth, and the Queen of Pop was scheduled to be headlining the UK leg of the show. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the concert in person, but BBC was broadcasting it live, and fabulous!

She sang four songs: Hey You, Ray Of Light, Las Isla Bonita (with gypsy influences) and show-stopper Hung Up. The crowd went absolutely wild on her. From friends of mine who did attend the event, I've heard that more than three quarters of the audiences were made up out of Madonna fans. You could tell even on television they were going absolutely wild!

After the broadcast, of course we had to go celebrate this legendary performance, so Tannus, Ziena and I went to the Golden Arm for a bit of a dance. All in all, it was a very very very nice evening.
